A Quote from Oprah :)

Guys! This it so true....Be grateful for what we have now.
Don't worry, Be Happy! Afterall, realize it or not, we are one of those lucky people alive. So, just smile and layback! If you don't get what you want, just sit down and be happy, cos God is thinking of something better to give you! Everything happens for a reason. So, let's not worrying about these or those blah..Let's make the most out of everything we have k'...

Polin's Week

Last week was another busy preparation for Pauline's wedding. Although I wasn't the one who get married, but I was being hectic as well. Well, just couldn't imagine how the real bride might feel at the moment.
Started from getting dance lesson for the opening of the bride and groom's wedding dance, throwing a bridal shower for Pauline, rehearsal for the holy matrimony, and another trivial things that I can't mention each of them.

As a proceed, it was a remarkable wedding party to remember. I was crying witnessing Weta and Pauline's wedding vow during their holy matrimony at Pelangi room, Shangrila in the afternoon. Someone once said to me that it takes perfect time, perfect place, and perfect person to make a perfect couple. Pauline and Weta is just the perfect proof of it.

When I came to the ballroom at night, the decoration was impressively outstanding for the standing party. The combination between peach and green had succeed in creating dinstinctive glamour nuance to the ballroom. Everything was just perfect. The foods, the decoration, the photos, the souvenirs. Everything was the trivial things that created deep impression for me.
So happy for Pauline and Weta that they finally walking down the aisle.
Another scene of life has successfully done, another phase is waiting. Well, I just can't wait for their upcoming happy scenes to come. Congratulations...Can't be more happy for both of you...

XOXO,
Bridesmaid in tarzan gown :)

Joy...Joy...Joy...

It's December and I just feel so glad and happy to be on this month. It's been the 10th day of December and been so many good things happened.

Today, Felicia has given birth to her first son, Giovano Anshel Santoso at Pondok Indah hospital by 8.49 am. So glad hearing the good news and now she's a mommy and I'm an auntie. It's an honor for me having a nephew and being an auntie. ^^ Fow now, I'm looking forward going to Jakarta to visit her and her newly born baby boy. Giovano, auntie is coming to see you soonnn.... \^^/

Yesterday I was having luncheon with the girls at Dome TP, since Grace is going to Timika following her hubby, Fendy. She won't be back anytime soon until February.
Cya soon in February, gal! :)

Not forgetting to tell, after sometime of collecting Starbucks stamps in order to get 2011 planner, finally yesterday I have completed all the stamps and therefore eligible of getting the planner. yayy :)

Last Wednesday, I was having meditation session at Stupa with Natalie. It was the second meditation I attended. Although I haven't grabbed the whole meaning of meditation, but I have enough passion to learn it better. ^^ After the meditation class, we were having Starbucks session at Sutos, and she bought me Christmas tree merchandise as the Christmas gift. Thanks Koko Nat... ^^

Another intermezzo to tell is about my twin sister's story. She's telling me that when you start of liking someone, you might expect more attention from that person, and when that person failed in giving you enough attention, you become grumpy and start to showing bad behaviour, although the fact that that person probably already given his/her best. Do you agree with this statement? As for me, I almost forget how it feels to fall into someone.
Sometimes I do think that being single is much more comfortable than being in a relationship. However, in other hand I also believe that being in a relationship means that we have to take and give, also learn how to cope with someone better. It is an important part, because we as a human being tend to be selfish and only care of ourself, therefore being in relationship means we learn how to treat someone as good as how we treat ourself. For me to say, this is a challenging task and something that we need to learn continously. It takes a second to notice someone, a minute to admire someone, a day to fall into someone, but it takes a lifetime to cope with someone. I believe there's a time for everything under heaven. I'm just hoping that for every circumstances, I would be having enough passion to getting through it.
Afterall, I do love December. How I wish I'm living in a winter country. Tonite I'm having a house warming party at Angie's house. Another party to attend. Looking forward for it ^^

Birthday Vaganza

Last saturday I was invited to Ellen's 26th birthday party at Penang Village. Surrounded by good foods, good environments, and at the end of the event, we were all given personalized BB pouch with our name as the Christmas souvenirs. Love it a lot ^^
In the evening continued by attending Mira's BBQ bday party at Yustian's house. The party was private and warm. Full of meats and grey goose.
Well, December is surely a month full joy and laughter. ^^

Titin's Week

It's 4 am in the morning, & I'm on waiting for make up as the Yulia's bridesmaid, with the other 2 bridesmaids, Dania & astrid at Lily Sasongko's.

Geez...only slept for 3 hrs last night. Got home by 10+ pm last night after having a big meal at Kunang2. So glad that I have my morning coffee+Mrs.Field cookie I bought 2 days ago from Papaya, so that at least the mood is boosted for a bit.

Today's gonna be a very long day. Starting from Yulia's house-Moonlight bistro for the holy matrimony-until later the real wedding party at Imperial Ballroom 1 at night. In addition, I would be wearing make up for almost 24 hours today. I hope I won't have any skin problem after this.

This week has been titled as "Titin's week", since all my activity was revolving aroung her. Started from throwing a bridal shower for her with the other 4 friends at Mystique on Tuesday, bridesmaid fitting on Thursday afternoon, & widodaren party at her house at night.

Can't believe this girl is gonna get married today. Knowing her since my 3rd year of high school until today, so it means I have been friends with her for 8 years now & still counting. Therefore I have been following her love stories from the beginning until now she is getting married.

Time flies & I am still standing tall & straight on the ground. How I wish I can also fly somewhere, somewhen, & sometime in a blue moon.
I wish...

Destiny - Jim Brickman

It's one of the nicest song that I have ever heard. ^^

Destiny - Jim Brickman
What if I never knew
What if I never found you
I'd never have this feeling in my heart
How did this come to be
I don't know how you found me
But from the moment I saw you
Deep inside my heart I knew

Baby you're my destiny
You and I were meant to be
With all my heart and soul
I give my love to have and hold
And as far as I can see
You were always meant to be
My destiny

I wanted someone like you
Someone that I could hold on to
And give my love until the end of time
But forever was just a word
Something I'd only heard about
But now you're always there for me
When you say forever I believe

Baby you're my destiny
You and I were meant to be
With all my heart and soul
I give my love to have and hold
And as far as I can see
You were always meant to be
My destiny

Maybe all we need
Is just a little faith
'Cause baby I believe
That love will find the way
Hey yeah

Baby you're my destiny
You and I were meant to be
With all my heart and soul
I give my love to have and hold
And as I far as I can see
From now until eternity
You were always meant to be
My destiny
You're my destiny

The Book of Life

Imagine our life as a book, then we have the freedom to choose whatever we want to make out of our book. Whether we want to make is as the best seller or not, happy ending or sad ending, thick or thin, big or small, eye catching or not, low profile or high profile, et cetera. It is ourselves who take control of our own book.

The book will always contains of front cover, contents, and back cover. The front cover is about the day we were born, the back cover would be the day we would die, and the contents between the front and the back cover would be the story of the days we live our life every now and then.

I wonder if I have been living in this life for around 27 years old, I assume at least few chapters had been written, since I don't know how many chapters Im gonna write. I had been thru a lot of things eg; happiness, sadness, brightness, sorrow etc in each and every phase of life. Like the wheel that will always turning, there were always ups and downs during the journey. Life is about connecting the dots. One thing leads to another things. Therefore, in the end, I will always get the reason behind everything. As far as I concern and remember, the reason were always for the better applied for every case.

There were those days of funny kindergartens, cheeky elementary school, geeky junior high school, sociable high school life, tough university life, and challenging post university life, which is the day I live on now. I am so grateful for everything that had passed by that making me into who I am today.

There are still so many chapters of life that is still blur and still in working process, but afterall all I can feel of writing is the chapters full of hope, love, faith, and dreams. I am surely a dreamer. At least, I am dreaming that the yellow cover book with striped off-white paper which I write using brilliant rose diamond pen will make a best-seller one day.
I hope you all gonna buy my book as soon as it is published. ^^

Your beloved writer,
Miss S

Obama's Speech in Jakarta

I like Obama's speech during his visit in Jakarta last week.
It is said that while many presidents won the vote, this one won the heart.
I am so agree with it. He shows humility and appreciation for Indonesia and Indonesians through his decent speech, and it simply works.

TEXT

Thank you for this wonderful welcome. Thank you to the people of Jakarta. And thank you to the people of Indonesia.I am so glad that I made it to Indonesia, and that Michelle was able to join me. We had a couple of false starts this year, but I was determined to visit a country that has meant so much to me. Unfortunately, it’s a fairly quick visit, but I look forward to coming back a year from now, when Indonesia hosts the East Asia Summit.

Before I go any further, I want to say that our thoughts and prayers are with all of those Indonesians affected by the recent tsunami and volcanic eruptions – particularly those who have lost loved ones, and those who have been displaced. As always, the United States stands with Indonesia in responding to this natural disaster, and we are pleased to be able to help as needed. As neighbors help neighbors and families take in the displaced, I know that the strength and resilience of the Indonesian people will pull you through once more.

Let me begin with a simple statement: Indonesia is a part of me. I first came to this country when my mother married an Indonesian man named Lolo Soetoro. As a young boy, I was coming to a different world. But the people of Indonesia quickly made me feel at home.

Jakarta looked very different in those days. The city was filled with buildings that were no more than a few stories tall. The Hotel Indonesia was one of the few high rises, and there was just one brand new shopping center called Sarinah. Betchaks outnumbered automobiles in those days, and the highway quickly gave way to unpaved roads and kampongs.

We moved to Menteng Dalam, where we lived in a small house with a mango tree out front. I learned to love Indonesia while flying kites, running along paddy fields, catching dragonflies, and buying satay and baso from the street vendors. Most of all, I remember the people – the old men and women who welcomed us with smiles; the children who made a foreigner feel like a neighbor; and the teachers who helped me learn about the wider world.

Because Indonesia is made up of thousands of islands, hundreds of languages, and people from scores of regions and ethnic groups, my times here helped me appreciate the common humanity of all people. And while my stepfather, like most Indonesians, was raised a Muslim, he firmly believed that all religions were worthy of respect. In this way, he reflected the spirit of religious tolerance that is enshrined in Indonesia’s Constitution, and that remains one of this country’s defining and inspiring characteristics.

Monday' Miscellaneous

Read this forwarded message from Lidya's blog, and I like it therefore putting it in my blog ^^

1] Prayer is not a “spare wheel” that you pull out when in trouble, but it is a “steering wheel” that directs the right path throughout. *guilty*

2] Why is a Car’s WINDSHIELD is so large & the Rear view Mirror is so small? Because our PAST is not as important as our FUTURE. So, Look Ahead and Move on. *so true*

3] Friendship is like a BOOK. It takes few seconds to burn, but it takes years to write.
*but sometimes you just gotta get rid of useless books esp fictional and horid books*

4] All things in life are temporary. If going well, enjoy it, they will not last forever. If going wrong, don’t worry, they can’t last long either.
*how very true, but we often dwell and complain when things go bad and never appreciate and cheerish the good things in life*

5] Old Friends are Gold! New Friends are Diamond! If you get a Diamond, don’t forget the Gold! Because to hold a Diamond, you always need a Base of Gold! *hmmm*

6] Often when we lose hope and think this is the end, GOD smiles from above and says “Relax, sweetheart, it’s just a bend, not the end! *amennn*

7] When GOD solves your problems, you have faith in HIS abilities; when GOD doesn’t solve your problems HE has faith in your abilities.

8] A blind person asked St. Anthony: “Can there be anything worse than losing eye sight?” He replied: “Yes, losing your vision!”

9] When you pray for others, God listens to you and blesses them, and sometimes, when you are safe and happy, remember that someone has prayed for you. *thanks to whoever u are but i think it’s most probably my mother =D *

10] WORRYING does not take away tomorrow’s TROUBLES, it takes away today’s PEACE. If you really enjoy this, please pass to others. It may brighten someone’s day…:)

Power of Attraction

Today a friend of mine gave me something to ponder on, regarding "The Power of Attraction" as she also got the theory from her evangelist.

She said that we tend to like someone who has similar nature (characters/personalities/backgrounds/hobbies) to us, or the one who we idolize, the one who we would like to become like.

Well, for some reasons I believe that someone with the same nature will attract the same followers' attention, as they would be having a good time enjoying the things they both like together, but I also believe that for some extent it can be bad thing as well. Imagine, if a couple who have the same tendency of jealousy or hi-temper or hi-pride, then in time of quarelling they would be mad at each other, that leading into a break-up.
Moreover regarding that we tend to like someone that we would like to become, I think it's kinda true as well...we tend to like someone who we admire, especially something inside that person that we don't have.

Well...I also just realize this theory, although the fact that it is such a common sense to understand.
How do you agree or disagree with this theory?
Feel free to let me know! :)

Mega Mind

2 days ago I was watching this Mega Mind movie with my other 3 friends.
I always love cartoon since it will release all the tenses, & create relaxing athmosphere.
Here comes the moral points from this movie:

1.We will never know how much the value of a person until they're gone.
-Yes, it's very true. Be good to your folks as you never know how precious they are until you lose them.
2. There's always a yin to a yang.
-For every bad thing you do, there will be a good thing to neutralize it.
3.Don't judge a book from its cover.
Sometimes you have to take a closer look before you judge someone.
4.It's fine to make mistakes as long as you learn something from your mistakes.
Well, this is just so true.

Afterall, it's a worth watching movie ^^

Re-Play

I & Dhieny were watching Re-Play in concert at Empire yesterday. The new breed of Holland boyband, which was sponsored by Indonesian-Holland Embassy.
They sang their own songs, & some of other singers' songs. Most of the songs were energetic ones, only some with the romantic nuances. The way they sang made remember of the old boyband, All 4 One. Shortly it was a nice concert that I would love coming to their concert again next year. Thumbs up to Re-Play!

C.U.M.I

If I have to mention a name of a weird friend of mine, Neva would be the answer. I call her cumi, as her hair looks like cumi-cumi (squid).lol

Cumi is amusingly odd. A gym rat and also a housewife typical girl, a very rare type of girl that we can meet these days. Someone who has a weird sound while laughing, like snake shishing sound, someone who appear to be cool outside while warm and caring inside, and someone who used to be a very diligent girl transformed to less diligent-tend-to-lazy student back then, however she's a very smart girl afterall.

Somehow I miss playing chess with this girl, the one who taught me how to play it altough sometime bullying me as I was the newbie. I miss our routine wednesday after class movie time. Those were the sweet memories of us for sure! ^^

This girl of the descriptions above just celebrated her 26th birthday last Sunday at Shang Palace. We've been bestfriends for 6 years since the 4th semester back in college and still counting. So happy that our path had crossed that made us being bestfriends ever since.

I'm hoping all the best for you, Cumi! Good luck for your romance life and wishing you a successful life 'coz you deserve the best!

xoxo,
Cumbawamba (This name is given by cumi aka cumai) lol

Nonong "Middle" Tribe

Do you have a friend that you realize having quite the same taste and same thought as you? Well, I have. These are the bestfriends of mine that we use "Nonong" term to call ourselves. Nonong is the term we use to call people with wide and big forehead, Well, we use this name not because that we all have nonong forehead. However, it's because I and Dhieny fond of having our fringe put upside, so that we have clear of fringed forehead ^^.

I am the oldest among nonong, therefore they call me "Da Jie", Dhieny is "Er Jie", and Siu Fang is "Xiao Mei".
Yesterday was my Er Mei's 27th birthday. She finally welcome to the 27th club. So glad that I have a companion now. haha ^^ She treated us at Bakerzin, TP and we wandering around for a while before finally going home by 5 p.m. Thank youu, Nong!

^^ Knowing this girl since high school, but back then we weren't hanging a lot frequently like we do now. One thing I remember was she ever said that my fringe was like a poodle fringe back then, making me down for the time being and even try to change my fringe style back then.:)For me to say this girl has an angelic heart within, no wonder many people like her a lot. Even, my little cousins also like her because of her magical laugh that can shocking a lot of people, not considering they are young, old, or even a baby. Lol

Afterall, I'm wishing all the best to her, and hoping that she can find her soulmate anytime soon. I love you sis :)

I Cross My Heart - All for One & Sammy Cheng

This is my fave song back then in junior high school. Last saturday I went to karaoke at Nav with the pals after dinner at Bonami. I bumped into seeing this song list, and as soon as I got home, I downloaded this song. This song makes remember about the era of requesting a song in the radio station back then. Wow. Time flies. 12 years since those days, and I still like this song. Listen to this song, peeps!. It's just mellowishly nice ^^

I Cross My Heart

holding you here in my arms
your heart is beating fast
and you want me to tell you
just how long our love will last
look in my eyes, hear what i say
i'll be the one who won't walk away

i cross my heart
pledge to you, all my love
to have and to hold
from this moment on
just as long as the stars shine above
i will be true, i promise you
i cross my heart

if i had just one wish
i'd make your dreams come true
'cause i have everything i need
when i'm loving you

put your hand in mine
i want you to know
i'll stand by your side and never let go

i cross my heart
pledge to you, all my love
to have and to hold
from this moment on
just as long as the stars shine above
i will be true, i promise you
i cross my heart

i cross my heart
pledge to you, all my love
to have and to hold
from this moment on
just as long as the stars shine through
i will be true, i promise you
i cross my heart
i will be true, i promise you
i cross my heart

White Horse

I just recall this quote from Panji's latest album:

"You'll never know when someone comes in, & press "play" in your "paused" life".

Well...for those of you who already found out your soul mates, congratulation and enjoy the journey, while for those who are still in waiting, don't worry coz the best is yet to come.

As for me I wish it is...
Sometime in a golden moon... Somewhere in an unusual romantic setting
Someone riding the whitest horse ever.

"There's a time for everything under heaven. A time to laugh, a time to weep, a time to wait, and a time to reap. Whatever it is, everyhing will be beautiful in its time"

Butterfly Kisses

For those who are getting married, and looking for a song for the wedding dance with your father, this is surely a great song to be considered. It's rare to dance with our father here in Indonesia, but I wonder it must be wonderful if one day I manage to do so.
I really love the lyrics. Some old men even confessed that they do cry listening to this song.
Browse the video on youtube and enjoy the song!^^

Butterfly Kisses-Bob Carlisle
There's two things I know for sure:
She was sent here from heaven and she's
daddy's little girl.
As I drop to my knees by her bed at night
She talks to Jesus and I close my eyes and
I thank god for all the joy in my life
Oh, but most of all
For butterfly kisses after bedtime prayer;
sticking little white flowers all up in her
hair; "Walk beside the pony, Daddy, it's my first ride."
"I know the cake looks funny, Daddy, but I sure tried."
In all that I've done wrong I know I must
have done something right to deserve a hug
every morning and butterfly kisses at night.
Sweet 16 today
She's looking like her mama a little more everyday
One part woman, the other part girl.
To perfume and make-up from ribbons and curls
Trying her wings out in a great big world.
But I remember
Butterfly kisses after bedtime prayer; sticking
little white flowers all up in her hair.
"You know how much I love you, Daddy, But if you
don't mind I'm only gonna kiss you on the cheek this time."
With all that I've done wrong I must have done
something right to deserve her love every morning
and butterfly kisses at night.
All the precious time
Like the wind, the years go by.
Precious butterfly.
Spread your wings and fly.
She'll change her name today.
She'll make a promise and I'll give her away.
Standing in the bride-room just staring at her.
She asked me what I'm thinking and I said "I'm not
sure-I just feel like I'm losing my baby girl."
She leaned over...gave me butterfly kisses with her mama there,
Sticking little white flowers all up in her hair
"Walk my down the aisle, Daddy-it's just about time."
"Does my wedding gown look pretty, Daddy? Daddy, don't cry!"
Oh, with all that I've done wrong I must have
done something right.
To deserve your love every morning and butterfly
kisses-I couldn't ask God for more, man this is what love is.
I know I gotta let her go, but I'll always remember
every hug in the morning and butterfly kisses.

Bloody Halloween

Today has been a bloody day for me. Well, not in scary way, but the other way around. It was a fun "bloody" day. ^^
After having lunch with my family at IBC restaurant, then we moved on to TP as my Mom's requested. Around 4pm , Natalie fetched me up at TP, then we went to PMI at Embong Ploso to donate our blood drive. The blood was taken around 350cc.
Well, it was my 1st experience, but today was Nat's second time, that's why she didn't feel scare at all.
After finished donating the blood, we were given a pack of Ultra Milk, milk crackers, and tablets of multi vitamin to recharge our energy back.

After 350cc has been taken, and the nurse asked me to hold on this red soft ball so that the blood will have better circulation.
We were going to PTC to check Nat's downlines at HSBC Air Asia's booth, then we moved to Sutos to have dinner at "de Kampoeng' before watching "Piranha".

With Natalie at de'Kampoeng. ^^
This movie was sucks. It's about the ancestor of Piranha that were thousands in numbers, and killing so many people inside the lake.
Shortly, during the movie it was all the blood, blood, and blood we saw.
The "bloody" Halloween is what I got for this year. Hopefully next year I will celebrate it in a real way. ^^
I feel quite content with myself as I finally managed to donate my blood drive as I always wanted to do since the beginning of 2010, and secondly I was able to spend some time with my ex garden office talk friend, Natalie. Been a while since the last time I spent time with her.

There are days that we should be proud of ourselves. Well, today is one of those day for me. ^^
Happy Halloween and happy Oktoberfest, everyone ^^

Fruit Club

Whilst in high school, I had a bunch of best friends called "Fruit Club". The club were including; Me as "Mango", Yulia as "Guava", Angie as "Apple", Amelia as "Orange", & the legendary twins, Rio & Riadi as the "Fruit club bodyguard". I didn't recall why we were using this weird name, but as long as I remember we were quite enjoying our name by the time being.

We hung out almost every weekend back then. It was always the twins who picked each of us up. Our fave destination was always the happening restos or cafes or malls.
It was great moments, great companions, and great journey for sure.
Our fruit club members were complete up until one of the twin, Rio went to US for taking his master degree. After Rio came back in town, then was Riadi's turn. Later on, Angie already got boyfriend, Yulia was following soon after Angie, & Amelia was queing the next year.
Our fruit club was never completely gathered from that on.

Yesterday was surely a happy moment & a rare opportunity that we could gather again completely after so long. The venue took place at Sushi Tei GM. We were sharing a lot of things, making fun of each other, & finally taking pictures together. The feeling was like going back to the good old days.
We had been through a lot of good moments for sure, & there would be millions of things coming up.

This year & next year, 3 of fruit clubs members eg: Yulia, Amelia, & Riadi are getting married. Wishing them a happy time in preparing their wedding events. Can't believe we've been friends for 10 years & still counting. Really proud of having you guys as my besties.
I remember a quote by Anand Krishna saying that: "Today's friends can turn out into tomorrow's enemies, & today's enemies can turn out into tomorrow's friends". Well, it happens for certain people. However, it won't possibly happen for us.
I believe that we have a strong bond of friendship that will make the friendship grows even stronger & prettier each day.

XoXo,
Mango

JL Night

The wedding I attended this weekend was Jason & Levina's. The venue took place at Grand City, & it was a huge standing party event.

When I went on to the stage to congratulate the bride & the groom, I just realized that the groom's mother was look alike with the bride that made me thought that it was the bride's mother.

Is it the similarity between them that make the groom fell in love with the bride at the first place? I believe there's huge possibility for it!

Overall, it was a great wedding party & a nice reunion night with old pals. Simply a night to remember :D

Marriage Thingy

Do you believe in a perfect marriage?
Well, I don't!

A couple days ago just met an old friend of mine who is few years younger than me. She is married & already have a son. I thought she was nurtured and was having a good marriage. Unexpectedly she told me a lot of unbelievable stories about her marriage.

She was a having a clash with her mom-in-law so many times, since they're living together. So, she said that she needs to a bit kiss ass to her in-law. Moreover, her husband is also insincere toward her & were way too many dramas. In front of others her husband showed off too much affection, while when they were alone, he was so mean & disrespectful. Moreover, she also suspected her husband had an affair with another woman. Although she wasn't sure enough, but I know that a feeling of jealousy is so much unpleasant.

I was speechless for the time being. Just hoping that things get better for her & her little family.

In a night like this, I just recall a quote more or less like this "In order to succeed, sometimes a lizard has to let go of its tail" Quoted from CEO of Samsung corporation.
I find it totally true!

Barbie oh Barbie

One of my dreams is collecting Barbie dolls, and have my own space to display all of the collections
This is the picture of the Barbie outlet in Shanghai. I heart this outlet a lot<3 and wishing someday I could have this kind of showcase in my house.
Whether it could happen into reality or not, well let's see! ^^

Garden Tea Rose

I love garden tea rose. I like the color and I love the romance feeling aroused by it.

Old Flame = 0

Have you ever experienced of attending your ex boyfriend’s wedding? Well, I had.
Last January I attended his wedding party at J.W Marriot. The day I got back from Singapore for my grandpa’s medical check up purpose was also his wedding day, January 17,2010.  Felt so lame going the party as I was so tired, however due to pay some respect to him, so that evening as soon as I got back home, I quickly prepared myself for the wedding party .
At the party, I shook his parents and sister’s hands and then placed myself to a comfortable seat between 2 of my best friends. I wondered how I might feel by the time I see the bride and the groom walking down the aisle. For my surprise, I didn’t feel any awkwardness seeing them together. One of my bestie told me if only I still being together with him, I am the one who would be standing there with him at the moment.
Well, I think I had dropped down the old flame a long time ago, and nothing had left, even a tiny bit. I just believe that things happened for a reason, and the reason is for the better.
Anyhow, I was feeling happy for David and Irene.  I saw them as a great couple perfectly matched to each other. ^^

Mr.Fatherly & Ms.Motherly

Yesterday I attended Naga & Susan's wedding party. It was a big party with pleasant athmosphere inside. Funny video clips, nice songs, good foods, & great companions.

A friend of mine said that Naga is so 'kebapakan' & Susan is so 'keibuan'. Well, I guess, that's the thing that make them match to each other.

It's always interesting to know how 2 people out of different background & personality meet.
Sometimes, love just happen at the first sight, others will be at the second sight, or extremely will be at the 100th sight. I think it's because what's indonesian term called "trisna jalaran saka kulina". People fall in love because they get used to meet each other, & love just happens because of the frequent meetings.
Well, however & whatever it is, falling in love with someone is a sort of destiny & a blessing as well, becoz love doesn't easily come.

In this opportunity, I just want to greet Naga & Susan for their wedding. Hoping them a prosperous & blessed marriage! ^^

This is a picture of me wif my "bodyguard' during Christmas'09. The title of this pic is "A Decade of Friendship" :)

Who I'm going to congratulate about for today is Handi. We've been friends for almost 11 years and still counting on. Started from the day I met him during the early year of my high school, I didn't have a feeling that I'm gonna be a bestie with this nerdy look guy, however since he weirdly attracted my attention, so there we go, the journey of our friendship began from that line.

Well, Today is his master degree commencement day! October 16, 2010. Such a big proud for me having a friend like him. Among the other many friends, he is the only one finishing his master degree. That's such a WOW and WAW!

Now, he is doing his tour and travel business. Inter-Tour and Travel it is.
So, if you by any chance needing a ticket for any purposes, you can directly call this hotline no.:  (031)77662284.
It is guaranteed you are about to have satisfaction services. ***** I'm the living proof ^^

Once in a Blue Moon Saturday

Today's officially my weekend off the public. Just got back from my grandpa's at Lawang by 7pm. Therefore, there's not enuf time to get ready.

Thus, turned out I was having head-to-toe body treatment.
& just done all those, now what I'm doing is listening to my fave old songs, downloading a few new songs, & bbm-ing with my bestie. She said that people change. The situation between now & 1 month ago is also changed. Yes, I do feel so. Life is about changes & choices. Every second counts. For some changes is for the better, we have to have faith & walk along with this thing so called changes.

It turns out that my saturday night becoming very pampering, rewarding, & meaningful.
I'm looking forward for weekends like this again in the near time ♥.

Forrest Gump

"Mama always said, life is like a box of chocolate. You will never know what you are gonna get".

I love this quote from The Forrest Gump movie.
I believe that life has so many colors, forms, taste & quality as well. The phase of life is also revolving.
Sometimes we just feel happy without any special reason, the other times it's just a so-so felt life, nothing exciting things happened, and any other time all we got is just the gloomy days.
However, whatever life brings us, life is just cherishable in many different forms. C'est la vie! ^^

The 7th Week

This is the pic taken D-1 before my departure to Shanghai. So glad that I got the chance to capture this scene.

Today is the 7th week my grandpa had passed away, which means that today is the final Thursday of our family gathering. Well, I think I'm gonna miss this moment.
I really love my grandpa, & I really feel so thankful that he waited for my arrival from Shanghai so that I can see him for the last time, as all my aunties thought. The day I came back from Shanghai, Aug 27, 2010 was also the day my grandpa passed away. That day I was very tired due to long flight hour & as soon as I reached Surabaya, I directly visited him as I was missing him so much.
Later on, as soon as I reached my home, I quickly unpacked my stuffs and was planning to sleep earlier. However, things didn't happen as planned. Around 7pm, my Mom said that my grandpa was running out of breath, so we directly went to his house. As soon as we arrived, all of my aunties & uncle were already there & full of tears. I also can't handle my bursted tears down. I felt so sad looking at his condition by that time. We were there waiting for him until he wrapped out his last breath. Somehow deep down I knew that it was the best for him, but I just feeling so sad for him. How come someone as kind as him can get such a terrible disease of tongue cancer. Life seems to be unfair for certain people, but we can't do nothing against it. For me, he's just the best grandpa in the world that I will ever get. Someone who was caring and responsible for everything he'd done & someone who will always stood up for his family no matter what. Shortly, he played the best role as a husband, a father, & a grandfather. Simply wonderful.
I remember a saying like this "Be someone good & remarkable, so that by the time you're gone, people will cry for you". My grandpa is just the perfect proof for this. Everybody loves him. It can be shown from the tremendous number of people coming in & out of his ceremony until the last day.
Another time, another weather, another season, another people, another scene, another opportunity, another activity. Things just come & go. I'm waiting for the storm of sadness to pass & a spark of happiness to enter again. Life is a blessing, and I believe that I am someone who is blessed beyond measure~

A New Breed of a New Blog! (www.silvaisland.blogspot.com)

Today was another good day, except one thing made me terribly upset.

I lost my blog account (http://www.mademoisellesilvana.blogspot.com/) this evening.
It happened when I idly trying to get rid of unnecessary items in my blogspot. I deleted i google item. Later on I tried to get back to my blog home & I just shockingly can't believe my eyes that my writings for 1 year were all GONE.

Totally spoiled the mood for tonight.
Nevertheless, I decided to make this another blogspot account. The ones I had written using my Blackberry from Sept-Oct were still available & thus can be retrieved to this new blog, while the others that were missing maybe I will wrote down a few that means a lot to me based on my remembrance.

Somehow, it's felt like my effort of writing for over a year were missing & wasted. T.T.

Well, I'm just hoping that this time this blog will stay here forever. *finger crossed*

Enough for the pity parts. Now, let's say hello to the new breed of my new blog, pals! nice to see you again! ^^ I hope this simple hello will make great relationships to us all. <3

XOXO,

Shuzaholic

If I have to choose one fashion item that I'm obsessed with, it would be shoes.

I have collected a lot pair of shoes, maybe there are 30 pairs in total, & they are all still in a good condition.

I do also love another fashion items as well. Clothes, bags, watches, wallets, hairbands etc., but shoes will always be the first choice among all items. Why? It's just that I simply believe that a pair of good shoes will bring me to many pretty places & hence giving me a lot of wonderful experience as well. Therefore collecting many shoes means there would be many shoes accompany me to many beautiful places xoxo :3

Female Brain

Got this image from a friend of mine. Do you really think that inside the female brains are only these of:
-shopping
-diamonds
-traveling
-dress up
-make up
?
Well...I don't think so.
Those things are just small part of our brains, but there are a lot more important things inside. Do you agree, my female friends?:p
