One 'old' night I was in Semarang having a big & lardy dinner, & the next 'new' night I was finally arrived safely in Surabaya after such a long drive & sleep inside the car...
This was how I got my brand new year started. The 3 days & 3 nights spent in Semarang was truly a journey filled with copious of foods, worships and laughter, that I will remember.
Sometime during the journey in the city, a thought about destiny just came across my mind.
A glimpse about who we met, what we experienced, where we went, when an event happened, how we encountered the event were not accidentally happened, as one dot has always been leading to another dots, that finally completing the puzzles of life. I call this destiny!
Quoting a mom of a friend's saying, destiny has a time frame as well. What hasn't happened yet, doesn't mean that it won't happen & what happens now, doesn't mean it will happen the way it is forever.
I found this very true. Taking for instance..I have been knowing this girl in my company for one year now.
From the beginning of being friends with her, we promised to do certain thing together, but
the path didn't cross between us until she left the company 7 months ago & we almost
got no contact, then suddenly last week a friend has connected us again and we finally
managed to do the postponed activities together. It feels so weird yet so true that making me believe about fate. I call this a postponed destiny.
There's definitely a strong sense of mixed feeling & a deep contemplation when it comes to leaving an old year & entering a new one. It has given me an opportunity to contemplate life, family, hardships, love, promises, & all the goodness & blessings in
my life. Looking back all the roads that I had once or so many time crossed, I realized that I am someone who is blessed beyond measure, and the blessing endures.
For now I am so ready to start a new beginning of 2012.
I gotta feeling it's gonna be a whole fabulous year for me.
