Day 31 : Thank you 2014

Today is the last day of 2014. 

It's been a wonderful ride, this year.

Too wonderful, that even on the last day of 2014, I still receiving many presents from Japan. Look how cute they are, aren't they?! 

And as much as I love 2014, I have to let it go at this point and welcoming 2015, which is hoped to be a year full of blessings, love, lucks, and happiness.

Thank you, Life, for all the experiences you taught me this year. I am so grateful for all I have seen, done, and learned. 

And for 2015, please be magical to me!

Day 30 : Work Life Balance

Got up very early by 5.30 am today, since I had an appointment with a client at 9.30 in Malang. It took 2 hours to Malang. Overall, it was a 9-hour journey in total. Very tiringg yet funn...After the deal been wrapped, we hopped a while to Hotel Tugu to check out the site. Been in my bucket list for a while, and now I made it. Yayy! We had bakso bakar Trowulan for lunch just before going back home. It was soo good!

On our way back, I heard the news that Air Asia QZ8501 had been found in Pangkakan Bun in form of debris, and 6 of the victims already been evacuated. The media said it was 95% assured that it is AAQZ8501.

I feell so sad..Although there's none of family related with the tragedy, but I am truly in the deepest condolences for all the passengers, crews, families, friends affected. May each of everyone be given strength and comfort. My prayers are with you all. Be strong!

Day 29 : Presents

I got two presents today.

One from a colleague and one from an old friend. 

I also gave a birthday present to a friend who just got her birthday yesterday at the same time.

Life is sweeter when there are things to take and things to give. 

Cos, afterall, life is worth that way. Isn't it?

Day 28 : #PrayforAAQZ8501

Shocking news of the day!

Air Asia' Passengers for Surabaya-Singapore destination are confirmed LOST with no traces. 

There's still no news updates up until now.

I'm so sad hearing the newss. Hoping for all the best for all the passengers and looking forward to hearing the good news soon. 

There must be a good thing to cover up the bad thing. Andd 

The best thing of the day was looking after my auntie's cake shop and eating my favorite snacks while having chitchat with my grandma. It's just grandma-grand daughter bonding day! ^^

Day 27 : Saturday Movie Night

Akhirnya nonton juga film Merry Riana, "Mimpi Sejuta Dolar". Sebelumnya sih sudah pernah baca bukunya, yang merupakan salah satu cerita yang sangat menginspirasiku. Oleh karena itu, begitu tau kalo akan difilmkan, aku sangat senang dan looking forward to watch it.

Overall, buku dan film'nya aga beda. I like the book better than the movie. Cuma overall, movie'nya sih cukup menghibur. Sangat pas untuk tontotan weekend yang cuacanya mendung campuran hujan rintik-rintik. Apalagi didukung dengan akting aktor dan aktisnya yang cakep dan menarik. 

Ada satu kalimat dari Ibu Merry yang sangat aku suka di film ini ketika Merry hampir putus asa dan merasa bahwa apa yang dikerjakannya selalu gagal. 

"Kamu telah memilih jalan hidupmu, dan kamu harus menyelesaikan apa yang telah kamu mulai". 

Kalimat ini mengingatkanku untuk selalu mengerjakan sesuatu dengan sepenuh hati dan sampai tuntas, karena segala sesuatu yang setengah-setengah hasilnya pun tidak akan maksimal. 

Benar-benar film yang menginspirasi. 

Such an inspiring lady MR is. 

Sangat berharap kehidupanku pun bisa penuh kesuksesan dan keajaiban seperti MR.

Day 26 : Day Dreaming

Today's been slow and cold. Raining the whole day, making me feel sleepy. 

Got my facial treatment today. I feel so ready to greet the new year. 

Just browsed a lot of holiday pictures, and I really like this picture of me taken in a garden in Amsterdam. 

I remember how laidback Amsterdam is. I just love the city and the foods, not forgeting that the language is actually quite similar to our language since many vocabularies are just the same to ours, which makes the city seems friendlier compared to other cities in Europe.

I remember my friend once taken me to red light district. Looking so many women inside the many transparent glass cubicles along the street, and I was told there are 3 areas in the street, which differentiate the types of the women. It was new and shocking. Never came accross my mind that this kind of job can be the source of living too. 

Well..I stayed only for 2 nights last time in Amsterdam. I wish I would get the chance to visiting this city again, in longer time and of course not forgeting to visit a friend whose living in Eindhoven.

Day 25 : Merry Kurisumasu

Merry Kurisumasu, everyone! 

It's time to be merryyy. I hope all of you guys have a very merry Christmas. 

I got the day started by having lunch together with my family at our favorite restaurant serving salted chicken and steamed fish as their specialties, which was then continued with a little shopping. There's something for everyone, and we went home with a big smile. 

A moment later, I went movie-marathon-ing watching "Night at the Museum" and "Paddington Bear". Such enlightening yet funny movies, just the type of movies I like.

Another happy thing of the day was when 2 of my friends who're on holiday texting me saying "I got you something". Yayy...presents for new year! It's good to be given presents, but it's even better to be remembered. Feeling so thankful for having such caring friends. The feeling is just priceless! :)
