Phra Phrom

A long time ago, the disciples of Brahmana had paid homage to Phra Phrom (Four Faces Buddha) as their highest esteemed God in the religion. The Brahmana religion was known to be one of the religions that has the longest history. This religion was symbolised by 3 major Gods i.e. God Brahma, God Vishnu, and God Siva, who form the main body of the religion. The origin of this trinity is that the Brahmana religion believed that these 3 Gods gathered their power to create things.

In the records of Buddhist literature, Phra Phrom belongs to the class of Devas and not Buddha. Therefore, it would be more appropriate to name it as the Great Brahma or the 4 faces God.

There are significants in the religious items held by the hand and its postures.
The significance of the items are interpreted as follows:

Book in hand: Represents Knowledge

Beads: Represents Reincarnation

Spear stick: Accomplishment

Flower stick: Blessing Water (wishes fulfilled)

Conch shell: Represents Prosperity

Mystic position of hand on the chest: Offering Compassion

Flying wheel: To avert and calamities, suppress evil and to release all gloominess and worries. Cakka.

Cinta Mani: The Almighty Power of Buddha

There are many Phra Phroms all over the world. The one that I've ever prayed to was the one in Bangkok. Located just beside the Erawan Mall, the high end mall in Bangkok.
It is believed that when people truthfully pray and make a wish to Phra Phrom, our wishes will be granted.

This earlier year I went to Bangkok to pray at the Phra Phrom. I prayed for all the good things to come into my life, to be able to be the helping hands to others, pray for my heart to be dissociated from the hatred, evil, and greeds. And lastly pray that I will be drawn away from anything harmful.
I just simply believe that my prayer was heard and on the process of accomplishment.
So looking forward to pray at Phra Phrom in Bangkok again in the near time. And whenever I mention Bangkok, the word 'shopping' will directly come accross my mind. Loving the cheap and cute stuffs. Lol!
Until I see you next 'I dont know when it is' time, Bangkok! :)

Para Bien

Got this from a friend on my birthday. I thought 'para bien' means 'happy birthday', but the actual meaning is 'for better or worse', a spanish word. Just got to know it now. That's it for tonight's intermezzo. It's been a tiring tuesday at work, still joined a hip-hop class in the evening. So, I gotta sleep earlier now. Good night and be happy always, para bien everyone! :)

Dormant Diet

G is tagging us about a diet plan somewhere in instagram on a wednesday morning.

G     : Can we do this diet plan ?
A&S: Of course we can.
S     : Let's start by tomorrow!
A&G: Okay!

A thursday morning at the office:
(A is munching chocolate bread)

S: Hey, you just break the rule! No white breadd...
A: Oops. Sorry, I forgot hahhaha

A friday morning at the office
(A spotting S buying ote-ote upstair)

A: Heyy...you snaackingg
S: it doesn't break the rule. No ote-ote stated on the list.
A: You just made an excuse!
S: Hahahahaha

On saturday night
S: Hello...how's your diet?
A: It's failed. I just ate an ice cream.
G: Me too. I just ate cakes. How about you? Where do you hangout?
S: I nailed it. I hangout at a cakeshop but I didn't eat cakes, I ate tuna sandwich instead of cakes. Healthy, isn't it?
G: On a white bread?
S: Oyeah I forgot. Lol

Apparently we do not take the 21 days diet plan seriously. Too much excuse and tolerance.
Need to be more assertive in making the diet works. Let's start again tomorrow. Anyone joining us? :)

Serendipity Cafe

One of the most favourite movies up until is The Serendipity, starring John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale. The story begins when they are trying to buy a black cashmere gloves at Bloomingdale's. They feel a mutual attraction, despite the fact that they already involved in another relationships. They end up eating ice cream at Serendipity 3 in NYC and exchange goodbyes. However, both of them realize that they have left something at the bar and return back to find each other. Thinking that it is a stroke of fate, they go out of town together and at the end of the day they exchange phone numbers at a $5 bill, and one at the book but didn't give it to each other. They think if they are meant to be together, they will find each other to find the bill and the book. But they never find the book and bill until seven years later. They eventually meet each other again back in NYC and introduce themselves formally for the first time. Such a sweet story it is. Finding something when they were not in a quest for it.

Since watching this movie, Serendipity Cafe has been one of my must to visit place. And I finally made it on my last holiday to the one in Caesar's Palace, Las Vegas.
I tried their famous Smore's hot chocolate at almost midnight. Fatty but happy I was. So looking forward to visiting another one in NYC. :)

Monkey Bars Theory

Happyy Saturday guys? What have you guys been doing? I was running errands today. Doing a little meeting with customer, little shopping, big hotpot lunch, having a nice massage, and hanging out at a new cakeshop serving nice cakess! This is how I love my Saturday. Jangan bersedih guys!

Wiseman says, jangan pernah takut gagal. Kalau gagal coba lagi aja. Gitu aja kok susah. Kalo kata orang Jepang fall seven times, stand up eighth. Jadi harus pantang menyerah! Coba teruss..gagal lagi coba lagi starting from the zero point lagi. Sounds so easy, right? What do you think of it, guys?

But overall, to live means to be imposed with troubles. As long as we live right, taking responsibles of all of our actions and sayings, then everything is gonna be alright. There's always happiness in sadness and the other way around. Life is balanced that way. Setuju?! Jadi...terus maju dan pantang menyerah dan always P.U.S.H (pray until something happen). Hakuna Matata...it's a worries free life. Have a happy sunday, everyone! :)

Happy Oktoberfest

Today's been a mundane day. Feeling sleepy all day long, no idea why.
The good news is it's October and it's friday so I celebrate it with a glass of beer and a long chichat session with a dear friend.
My face gets red as soon as I drink a few sips and I just feel so sleepy right now.
So glad that tomorrow is saturday. Time to eat and play and have some fun! Wishing you guys a great weekend! :)

Even Miracles Take a Little Time

Someone asked me..."Have you ever fall head over heels into someone?"
And I asked her back...."What's the meaning of the term?" She said that it means that I am totally in love, would do whatever it takes just to be with the guy, and going extra miles to make things work.
Well...and so I answered her it's a Yes! It has always been a total when it comes to loving someone, but it goes the second place after loving myself first. However I love someone, I still make a rational thinking for all the decisions I am about to take.

By being asked this thing, I remember that someone ever said that he's head over heels to me before. And yes I can feel that he was totally in love with me, but after going on for some time, several conflicts started to happen, and instead of getting things fixed, he's blaming me for what happened. He definitely didn't put his shoes on mine. I guess nobody gets the red card for this. It is simply said that we are just not each other's cup of tea.

While miracles take a little time, getting to know somebody takes a whole lot more time. Hence, there's no such thing as head over heels for someone in just a short period. So a lesson for us, never  say we are head over heels into someone if we are not sure we would do whatever it takes to make things work.
Cos...even miracles take a little timee!
Good night, everyone! *yawn*
