A Moment Just Before the "Blink"
Being a banker is not an easy job, especially when you work in the sales department.
Yet,all the sales activities and decisions are taken based on the market conditions.
And market condition itself is influenced by the global market in general, which tends to be very dynamical and rapidly change. One thing leads to another things, speaking of which can impact overall condition within a country.
2 important issues which has been the trending topics for this year are the "Jokowi Effect" and "Janet Yellen Effect".
When Jokowi was appointed to be the presidential candidate from PDI-P, JCI was bullished 152 bps, 3.2% to around 4,870, and IDR was streghten to IDR 11,400, which creating the market euphoria in the country. This is called "The Jokowi Effect". I personally also enjoying this effect, since I also invested my money in the equities.
But too bad the euphoria only lasted for 5 days, just before finally going down again, as Janet Yellen statement that Federal Reserve was about to continue the tapering off for USD 50 Billion on the third quarter this year and increasing the interest rate at the end of 2015. This statement has made USD seems to be more favorable than IDR. And this is called the "Janet Yellen Effect".
Up until today, this Janet Yellen Effect still make the investors worry, besides the legistlative issues.

Nobody can guarantee the future of our country, as things are getting more complicated than before.
I, as a non-political person wishing things to be better so that eventually would be falling into the right places, so that my job as a banker will become much easier too. :)
That's it for today's sharing. I am now about to read a new book I just bought yesterday. It's "Blink" by Malcolm Gladwell. Gonna read it until am blinking and yawning.
Good night, everyone! :)

How I Love Monday!
Today's been a good day. Got another blessing on my job today, got a new red bracelet similar to Bottega Veneta's, and a dinner treat from the boss after office hour. Life is good.Buddha bless me! :)
And tonight there were actually a lot of thing that I wanted to do, but instead of having "me" time, I made an itinerary for my customer who's going to LA this coming December.
He knows nothing about LA and has no friends in there, so he asks for a help for everything he should know beforehand; About the car rentals, International driving license, must visit places, and must eat foods in there, etc.
Since I just been there few months ago, I still remember most of the details. An itinerary finally been made with the help of information from several friends.
I am so glad that I can help. And by making the itinerary, it somehow reminds me with a glimpse of my last holiday in LA.
It suddenly reminds me of one brand I love in US. It is Kate Spade. (So random lol). I remember I love entering Kate Spade store when I was in the outlets in LA. I love their quirky and one of a kind designs. Not forgeting that they have reasonable prices too.
So here's my cute findings over the web for Kate Spade, Anya Hindmarch, and Moschino! So cutee. Aren't they? Loooff

Always Coca Cola!
Visited Coca Cola flagship store for the first time when I was in Las Vegas. The store is located at the Vegas Strip, beside The Hard Rock Cafe if I'm not mistaken. And I just got to know that Coke has so many different flavors throughout the world.
I always thought Coke only have 1 flavor, but the fact is, it has so many flavors and each of them is unique. I remember that I tasted awfully bitter flavor, but I just forget which one it was.
There were 16 flavors, divided into 2 trays, 8 flavours for each tray, and each flavor goes in a very small plastic glass.
Afterall, it was a new experience and I'm happy
There's a quote saying "Go to a new place every year". Traveling gets more and more expensive expensive nowadays, how about starting to taste different coke flavor from different places first? Each sip represents the uniqueness of each place.
Sounds like a good idea, isn't it?:D

Let's Detox & 'Detox'
Read an article about detoxifying our life today. Here's what I recall about the article so far:
Detox literally means releasing toxins from our body. While toxins in life can be in many forms such as old stuffs, old memories, receipts, pictures, notes, letters, and other unimportant knick knacks.
We should always take a break time every once in a while. To think about What's important and what is not.
What is to keep and what is to trash.
What's been our priority and what's been our flings.
So we can move on with better perspective every once in a while.
Let's start detoxifying our life and be healthy! :)
Btw how's your weekend? Mine was nice. Having korean meals for twice, and got to try a new dessert house in town.
I also had my haircut today. It's only a 1-inch haircut to make it look more balance with the length of my bangs.
I wonder if having a haircut can also be treated as the detox process, then I just done the first step. Hoorayyy! :D
Alrite then. I gotta sleep now. Got a birthday party to attend tomorrow morning. Good night! :)

Thank God It's Kdrama Friday
Just finished watching the final episode of this Kdrama "Cunning Single Lady".
It's the story of a divorced couple finding their way back to finally falling in love and remarried again, for the second time. Basically it's a story of a second chance.
It's funny, romantic and touching at the same time. It's worth watching, especially the performance of the lovely actress, Li Min Jung! So pretty! <3
Alright then. I have a meeting to do tomorrow, so gotta sleep now. Cya later! :)

Convos
2 remarkable conversations happened today:
A customer came to me this afternoon.
C: I want to convert all my money to USD and then I need to transfer them all to the Bank of America.
Me: Okay Mam. Do you live in USA?
C: Yes, I do.
Me: Where in America you live, Mam?
C: I live in Seattle.
Me: How long have you been living there?
C: Around 3 years now. All my 4 children living there. And all are married to the natives.
Me: Wow, that's so cool Mam.
C: Yes, but I prefer living here than in the US.
Me: Why is it?
C: US people tend to be very individualist. Raising children was very hard yet after the children are now being adults, they still bothering us with all the little things that we shouldn't be bothered with.
Me: No worries Mam, things are gonna be fine. And you'll get used of it sooner or later.
Somehow I wonder, if I happen to live in the States for real, what changes would be impacted in my personality. Will I be an individualist too? What kind of person will I become?
Well, it's just a what-if thoughts on a sleepy afternoon, and I decided to leave it unanswered since am not gonna be a US person.
Second conversation was between me and my bestfriend.
F :I'm going to SF this December
Me : Waaa....I want toooo..So envy!
F : Let's go together. My sister already know you, one of my oldest friends. She said you can come together if you want to.
Me : Okay. Let's go! Hoorayyy
Hahhaa...The truth is I won't be visiting States again in the near time. Got no leave quota and got no money. Lol
But if I get the chance to visit States again, my next destination would be the East Coast for sure. I would loveee to visiting New York on winter.
Strolling down the Times Square in my winter costumes beaming by the night street lights, touching the snows with my bare hands and surrounded with the Christmas decorations and songs. Such a good image to me! I hope it would happen to me someday.
Well...I'll sleep on it tonight and make it happen sooner in my dream. Good night fellas! :)
