Something to Ponder

A brief dialogue between a brazillian theologist Leonardo Boff and the Dalai Lama.

"Your holiness, what is the best religion ?"
(I thought he would say: "The Tibetan Buddhism" or The Oriental Religions, much older than Christianity")

Dalai Lama paused, smiled and looked me in the eyes...which surprised me because I knew of the malice contained my question.

He answered : " The best religion is the one that gets you closest to God. It is the one that makes you a better person".

To get out of my embarassment w/ such a wise answer, I asked : "What is it that makes me better ?"

He responded :
"Whatever makes you more compassionate,
More sensible,
More detached,
More loving,
More humanitarian,
More responsible,
More ethical."
The religion that will do that for you is the best religion"

I was silent for a moment, marvelling and even today thinking of his wise and irrefutable response :
"I am not interested my friend, about your religion or if you are religious or not.
"What really is important to me is your behaviour in front of your peers, family, work, community, and in front of the world".
"Remember,the universe is the echo of our actions and our thoughts".
"The law of action & reactions is not exclusively for physics. It is also of human relations.

If I act w/ the goodness, I will receive goodness.
If I act w/ evil I will get evil.

"What our grandparents told us is pure truth. You will always have what your desire for others.
Being happy is not a matter of destiny. It is a matter of options".

Finally he said :

"Take care of your Thoughts because they become Words.

Take care of your Words because they will become Actions.

Take care of your Actions because they will become
Habbits.

Take care of your Habbits because they will form your character.

Take care of your Character because it will form your Destiny, and your Destiny will be your Life....

Profesor atau tukang sayur , yg penting setelah dewasa jadi orang yang baik
房屋大小,能住就好。
Rumah besar atau kecil asal bisa di tempati baik
名不名牌,能穿就好。
Branded atau bukan yang penting enak di pakai
两轮四轮,能驾就好。
Roda 2 roda 4 bisa di kendarai sudah baik
老板不好,要忍就好。
Atasan tidak baik,harus sabar dan tahan itu baik
一切烦恼,能解就好。
Semua masalah yg penting bisa terselesaikan
坚持执着,放下最好。
Ngotot tak mau mengalah lebih baik dilepaskan
人的一生,平安就好。
Hidup ini yg penting aman sentosa
不是有钱,一定会好。
Bukan ada uang semuanya akan baik
心好行好,命能改好。
Hati baik jalan baik nasib akan berubah baik
谁是谁非，天知就好。
Siapa benar siapa salah, langit / yg di Atas pasti tau
修福修慧，来世更好。
Amal zariah lahir kembali akan lebih baik
说这么多，明白就好。
Bicara banyak gini yg penting ngerti
天地万物，随缘就好。
Langit dan bumi seluruh kehidupan di bumi , turut kodratnya saja / sudah takdir terima apa adanya,
很多事情，看开就好。
Banyak masalah , yg penting dapat di terima apa adanya
人人都好，日日更好。
Semua orang baik,hari2 akan lebih baik
你好我好，世界更好。
Kamu baik aku baik ,dunia akan lebih baik
总而言之，知足最好。
Kesimpulannya , harus mensyukuri merasa kecukupan

Oh La La

Just got back from dinner at Taiwanese noodle at Loop wif oldfriends; Handi, Gyat2, & Yulia, continued by hanging around at Supermall.
It's like remembering the good old days when we used to hanging out with lots numbers of personal back then, while now the number is shrinking to only few people.
Nevertheless, number doesn't really count if we can have fun just by only a few, right?

Sweet Evening Escapade

Today just downloaded 2 songs that I heard from Disney on Ice.
"Part of Your World" by Faith Hill & "Fly to Your Heart" by Selena Gomez. Me likey these songs. ♥
I Just knew there's a new modus of klepto in a department store. They go to the fitting room, & they just go out with the new outfit after they pull out all the tags, & left their clothes inside the fitting room.
Woww...what a crazy yet brave idea, right?
It's a fact that the world is getting crazier each day! It's so true that we should go with the flow, but we shall choose the right flow that may lead us to a good place, not the other way around! & always remember to have fun go mad along the flow, peeps! ;)

Happy Easter...

Happy Easter Day to those who celebrate it!
Today has been great. Yamcha in the morning at Shangrila, continued by picking up my cousins at Atom, then speeding to Jatim Expo to watch Disney on Ice again for the second time. Well...Actually I don't feel to watching it twice, however since they don't have companion to watching it since their parents were busy, so there I was being their temporary mommy for all evening.
After the show, we went to Pizza Hut for having early dinner, then sending them home afterward.
I feel so sleepy now. So lame yet excited thinking that tomorrow I should wake up early to starting the new working week over again.
