Happy Sunday

A funny story happened just some time ago between a very confident guy with a decent girl, who has no other intention with the guy, except for being friends with him.
And the fact that they just known each other for less than a month, this conversation is somehow a bit awkward.

B: Hey girl, your birth year is 1983 or 1984?
G: It's 1983.
B: Oh no...
G: Why?
B: It means you & I are 3 years apart.
G: Yes, so what's wrong with it?
B: It's not good right? 3-6-9 are not good, right?
G: Yes, I heard about it. But it's just for a couple's relationship, right?
B: Yes. Do you think I am into you just for making you my student? Of course not lah. It's for making you my lifetime partner.
G: (LoL inside) Hahaha
B: But, I don't mind 3 years apart. Do you mind?
G: Yes, I do mind. I prefer not 3-6-9 years apart.
B: Okay. Noted. It's hard to find the right one.
G: Yes, it is.
B: If you know someone who is suitable for me, please introduce her to me.
G: Okay. I will. (Speechless)

It's awkward, isn't it?
Life can be so funny some time, and we can find it everywhere from everything or everyone. Just open your eyes and let the eyes amaze you in anyways.
Happy sunday, everyone! :)

Serendipity

Hellooo guys...I finally get back to the island after the long lost.

How have you been this month? I've been struggling this month.
Everyone who's got the same profession as mine will know how hard this month has been.
The index bearish, the twice increase of 75 bps BI rate has created higher inflation in our country, causing the price hikes in most aspects, making the market even more unfavorable.
I just hope everything would be getting on track again very soon. *crossing fingers*

There's always good news to cover up the bad news.
Sometimes, you just doing the best out of your routines, without thinking whatever results would come out of it, then once in a blue moon, unimaginable opportunity finally knock off your door. You open the door, & that's how a new experience finally happened.
I call it serendipity.
Yes, serendipity do happen to me.
I believe in miracles, & seems like miracles believe in me too. :)

Anyway...How did you spend your weekend? I just got back from a routine saturday hang out with my great buddies.
It always feels great when you got busy all week long, but you can still hanging out & having a long conversation over the dinner & desserts with your closest friends at the end of the week.
It's true that life is hard, but somehow it feels sweet though...as sweet as the yummy pancake I just ate tonight.

Life is good, & it will always be.

Good night! :)

Be Happy

Life will not be easy.
Once in a while in life, you will get stumbled and fall apart.
Despite all the problems life offers, it is still worth to be fighting for.
Get ready for the ride, fasten your seat belt, smile and be happy! :) Xx

365 days around the sun

A birthday is just the first day of another 365-day journey around the sun. It's been the 32nd day since my 30th birthday. Still a lot more days to come by and a lot of life mysteries to be revealed. Whatever they are...I wish things will be good and life will be kind to me. Xx

Farewell 20

Today is the last day of my 20s!

There's this mixed feeling, whether I have to be happy or sad or ecstatic as I used to be.

Birthday has always been one of my faves day of the year, which making me feel ecstatic the whole day, but today I don't feel as much as excited as I had been before. It's because starting tomorrow on I am 30. I can no longer say that I am on my 20s, in fact I will be joining club 30, a club of grown ups and maturity.

But I guess this is life.
However you don't like of being 30, it happens and life goes on.
People say...C'est la vie!
I say.. la vie va etre grand!
Life is going to be great...at least that's what I always believe...

It's time to say goodbye to my 20s and welcoming my sweet 30.
Life is good and it will always be.

Looking forward to share the birthday cake with you guys! Come come! Bottom note: Don't forget to get me birthday presents hihi!

Regards,
Birthday Girl

Thank God I'm Alive

The wisest advice I heard today.

"There are time when you feel down and left behind. There are time when you feel you are a failure and everything you do is wrong. Don't worry. Count your blessings and be grateful about your life. When you feel grateful about your life, then you will be happy!" -SE

Because of this advice, I decided to count my blessings and be happy instead of frowning things up.

Life still treat me good, despite all the problems it offers.
Thank God I'm alive.

When Marco Meets Marcy

Marco: Hey Marcy, long time no see. How are you?

Marcy: I'm worn out. My boss wears me all the time. I always accompany her to piano lessons, ballet class, social calendars, even on traveling she never forgot to bring me up with her. How about you, Marco?

Marco: I'm only a bit luckier than you. My boss wears me once a week, usually on the weekend when her social calendar meeting comes up. But, when it comes to traveling, she wears me all the time.

Marcy: No wonder, you still look good, Marco!

Marco: No lahh, you also still look cute, Marcy!

Marcy: let's take a picture of our candlelight dinner date, Marco! Just in case we won't be meeting each other anymore.

Marco: Okay! Btw, today you look pretty, Marcy! Despite the fact that your super red lips look so thick & juicy!

Marcy: You too, Marco! Your eyes look bigger & rounder!

Marco: How old are we, Marcy?

Marcy: We are 2.5 years old. I guess we gonna be extinct within this months.

Marco: I hope not. *Fingers crossed. Okay, Marcy! I'm going home first. See you soon!

Marcy: See you, Marco! Xoxo

Celebration of Everything Good

Hi Folks!

Been a while since the last time I blogged. What did I miss?
Hmm...Happy Chinese New Year and HappyValentine's Day, everyone! Wishing you a happy and prosperous life as well as a romantic life for those of you couple out there! :)
Someone told me sharing is caring, and Iife is always good when it is shared.
How was the hongbao hunting and how did you spend your Valentine's night? I would really love to hear it from you! :)

I've been busy this lately or you can say that it's an excuse for me of not blogging? :p
Whenever the day gets dark, I also get busy with tiny winy of these and those. I currently read a Danielle Steel book "Happy Birthday", and haven't finished reading it yet, but so far it's a good sip of book.
I also watch "The Big Bang Theory" and "Pretty Little Liars" serials. The serials keeps me get going as well.

I finally cut my hair very short and have it curlied at the same time. I was inspired by a Korean woman I met at a restaurant. I was hesitated to immitate the look, but at the end of the day I decided to have the new look, considering it's new year. New year means new life and hoping a new look may bring a good luck. You can also say that the reason I curled my hair is to obtain the Medusa look, so that it matches this year's theme, which is the year of the snake. Any followers here who also want to get the same look as mine? :)

It's saturday, the day I can embrace all the things I love and enjoy. I start the day with the love for coffee, started with the love for everything else. I'm going to a birthday party at Sitara, an Indian restaurant after this. Looking forward for the good foods and good companion.
Hope this weekend going great to everyone of you! :)

Xoxo,
S

2.0.1.3

Happy new year 2013, everyone! Let's welcome a year where good things are brewing, and I Hope everyone is having a great beginnning! :)

My delightful beginning of 2013 started from the day before new year, whereas I was having a gathering chez Madame Titik having dinner together with the old pals, watching Korean "Running Man" reality show, eating ice creams, chichat-ing about the good old time, about the future, about her kid, and about everything. Time ticked so fast, that it was just like a blink of an eye, the time had almost reached midnight, and suddenly when it was 00.00, we all shouted and greeted each other a happy new year.
It was just a very simple party, that we didn't get to buy fancy equipments nor fireworks for the party. However, although the fact that it was just a very simple celebration, the ultimate joy was there. Firstly, it was the joy of friendship. Having a decade old of friendship simply means a lot to me. The longer the wine is kept, the better the taste would be. Dom Perignon, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot...You name it! Applied to our friendship as well. I bet out friendship taste so tasty from the very first sip.
Secondly it was the joy of living. For me, it's simply the faith that something good is going to happen in the near future. Indeed!

The joy under the sun continued the whole day with my family, and when the night appeared, the joy switched to under the stars. Shortly, it was so much of a joy's joy!

New year always means a new beginning, a new hope, and a new faith. We just need to keep the faith going anddd keeeep brewing!

Have a happy 365 brewing days, everyone!

Lots of love from the Island,
Silva
