Jeremy Airlines

The thing I have always wanted in life is having siblings, be it brothers or sisters, or combination of both?:p so that life would have been noisier than before. Could I still ask for it? Well, it's just so doubtful..

One of the joy of having sisters is that they would set up something special & touching when it comes to your big day, just like what happened today on Pauline's surprise birthday party & baby shower. Her sisters set up & prepared every details prior to the event, and as a result, the party happened to be so much fun for us & so much touching for her :)

One thing I realized today is that I'm living in a community of friends whose majority of them already having toddlers. Hence, wherever I am sat upon, the conversation always sailing from parenting to household, that somehow making me feel lost in the jungle.
But then I think that it's good for me to learn many things in advance, so when it comes for me to enter the stage, I would be more than ready to embrace the kind life. Anyone agrees?!

Well...As for now, I just can't wait for Jeremy Airlines to be landed soon! Smooth flying 'til the delivery, Mommy Pauline!

You Make Me Smile

Check out this video on YouTube:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CAGbYfjclZg&feature=youtube_gdata_player

Been listening to this song a lot lately. Just browsed the video and found it funny, so I think it's worth sharing here. The music video is about a guy who is being persistent in chasing the girl of his dream. Rejection he got for so many times leading up to acceptance in the end of the story. Persistence has the tendency to win over so many hearts!
Enjoyy the music!! :)

A Confession of an Auntie

Last monday I went to Angie's daughter 1 year-old birthday party.
The courtesy goes to Katarina Asalim. Same way happens to proud parents Hery & Angie, here comes the proud Auntie Silva as well. :)

Met lots of hi-school buddies there.
Birthday party has always been a great time to have lots of blah & haha or hihi with friends, but when it comes to old friends as the attendants, the joy doubles up! :)

I and Katarina's mommy have been great buddies since the second year of high school, so we have been friends for 12 years, a turn of a zodiac, and it still counting on. Somehow there's this magical feeling how time turned everything up. I witnessed many events of her earlier days. I still remember there was a time of those single days, couple days, broken hearted days, crazy party days, friendship days, single days again, couple days again,& when finally all the things were falling at the right places between them, engagement party finally happened that lead to the wedding party right after then.

I remember sometime in several years ago, someone asking me about how I feel when each of my bestie is starting to getting down the aisle & racing me up? Will I just lowering down my standard or just picking up any guy in order to catch up with the others as many has done so..
It was quite shocking to be asked such question.

However, as I age more...this kind of question repeatedly sound to my ears. In most of every parties, people will keep asking when would be my turn, & some would doubting my single status & sometime they will judging me up, accusing me this & that while the facts they do not know me that well. Later on, they were initiated to introduce me to the right prospects, which somehow I think their definition of prospects is different with mine.
So, it somehow appear to me that they were being pathetic of me not having a boyfriend by this age! *sigh* (¯―¯٥)

I don't think there's something wrong with being single. As there's always a yin to every yang, there's this joy of my single life. A True Joy! Reallyyy!!
And I believe many good things in life are worth awaiting.

As I have heard so many times before, I believe when the time has come, things will come easy & smooth, but if obstacles happened along the way or even when you have tried but you still cannot get the whole picture of everything, and even you can ask yourself "What's the point of me doing all of this?!". Well, I believe it's a sign that lining it up to an end might be the best decision.
Cos I believe that the best thing in life will naturally happen, & thus insistence will never gonna work.

Well..Tonight is certainly not my hangout schedule, so as soon as the working hours ended, I was heading home.
While some friends would be enjoying their tennis game, movies, dinner date, massage etc,
I am having my own way to have fun.

It is to chill in Silva Island at the end of the day contemplate & write things up while sipping my fave camomile tea & listening to my fave music.
I found this rewarding & blissful.

Ok then..I will stop writing and let the bliss endures before the night ends.

Good night, peeps! ^^

Hoahmmm,
Queen Silva

J Town Getaway

It's been almost a week since I got back from Jakarta.

I'm glad that I made it to watch Java Jazz 2012 in Jakarta after been wanting to watch it since 3 years ago. The waiting finally paid off. I was so much enjoying Dave Koz's performance, especially his special show gathering 5 homeless children band from Bandung, named Limatujuhkustik. It was simply awesome & amazing!

My 4 days & 3 nights stay in jakarta flew so fast, that made me wanted to endure the stay for more. Special thanks goes to a dear auntie & a dear friend for taking me to places I wanted to go, restaurants I wanted to taste, & even movies I wanted to watch. It was simply priceless.
Merci Beaucoup!

I recall a quote I read at JPCC's bookstore. Here is how it sounds:
"Ring the bell that still can be ring. Forget your perfect offering. There is a crack. A crack in everything. That's how the lights get in"
-Leonard Cohen quoting St.John of The Cruise
I found it proufound & meaningful.

And just now, a friend of mine mentioning about eating at Chung Gi Wa, a korean restaurant in Jakarta, that makes me want to fly back to Jakarta just to taste this restaurant that I didn't happen to taste at the last day of my trip.

Oh well...I guess there's always a second chance for everything. So, til I see you again, Jekardahhh!! :)
