Two Becomes One
Yesterday probably the most casual yet interesting wedding party that I have ever attended.
Have you ever seen the bride & the groom dancing on stage with Justim Bieber's "Baby" song as soon after the wedding slow dance was over?
Have you ever seen a video clip of how the groom proposing the bride?
Or have you ever seen the bride singing for the groom?
Well, yesterday the Riadi & Stephanie's wedding party answered them all.
It was probably the most romantic & touching proposal story that I ever known.
Here's the story of the proposal video clip:
-It was all started on Stephanie's 25th birthday in front of a medium group of 20+ people.
-Steph was given a fortune cookie & being asked to cracked the cookie.
-After cracking the cookie, there was a paper written saying "Today's gonna be your lucky day. Someone is gonna put on a rock on your finger. Decide quickly".
-Stephanie was so surprised that she was speechless at the time being
-Later on, there came a time for the nervous Riadi to make a proposal speech to her. At the end of the speech he kneeled down & saying; "Stephanie, I love you so much. Would I be a part of your life".
-And there came a scene when Stephanie stood up & hugged him.
-Ta dahh...mission finally accomplished.
Watching the clips made me wondering. How come an old friend of mine that I have been friends for almost 12 years would have been so romantic.
Well...it's true that we should never judge a person by its cover. But we can also say that falling in love can make people doing crazy things that we can never imagined before, right?
Well..I guess that's the power of love.
Afterall, I love attending the '2Becomes1' party of Riadi & Stephanie. I'm wishing them a great journey every now & then. ♥

Wednesday Edition
Hello...Welcome to Silvana's "Me" time session for Wednesday edition, 22nd June 2011that has been awaited. ^^
What else can beat the joy of having a cup of hot camomile while listening to heart warming music and reading a good book? It's such a blissful life in Silva Island now :)
All of a sudden, a friend's status of "Trusting God's Time Table" keep echoing in my head. I kept on thinking the logic statement of it. I came to a conclusion that God is indeed having a timetable for each of us, which is surely different applied to each and everyone of us.
God has planned a time for us to be happy or sad, to achieve or to fail, to be in love or out of love, to smile or to frown, to settle down or to flow on, and so many conditions that is indescribale. Whatever situation that we have been put on, let's trusting God's time table, since everything will be beautiful in His time (Ecclesiastes 3:11).
This morning, a married couple came over to the office. The husband is in his 60ish, and is paralyzed sitting on his wheelchair, accompanied by a nurse. He's Barely able to speak, thus mumbling and speaking over his gestures most of the time.
Looking at him reminds me of my grandpa whose condition was similar to him back then. The view of the old man had me flashing back for a while before I continued my work again. It's a pity looking at him. I'm wishing him the best recovery that he can get. God bless him. :'
Ok then. I gotta continue reading before having my beauty sleep.
Au Revoir.

LOVE
Last week, I was having this 'casual conversation turning into interesting one' with a friend of mine during our way home.
F = Friend S = Me
F: I don't know why, but since I have been in a relationship with him, my life is becoming happier & meaningful.
S: Really? How come?pls describe!
F: It feels like that my life is having a purpose now. With him it feels different. Everything has changed since he came around. I think he's my soul mate.
S: Really? How can you be so sure that someone is your soul mate?
F: You can feel it. It feels different. By the time he comes, you're gonna feel it. It's not that the two of you won't be totally matched without any adaptations or somewhat. It's more about acceptance. Quarrels will still occur, but by the end of the day, things will get better & you both will get to know each other better after then.
S: Wow. The power of love is so great. When will I find my true love?
F: Don't worry. There will be a time when your 'time' comes.
I used to pray to God. Asking someone who will see the 'pretty' in me that not all people will see, but when someone can see it, I know that he's the one & more, I was asking for some who can love me for who I am despite all the lacks I got.
S: And now all your prayers are heard, dear?! Congrats. I'm so happy for you. That's the power of the prayers, I guess.
F: Yes, they are heard & I'm so happy now. :)
S: I think I should start following your path, sis. :)
That's the meaningful conversation between us that day.
Somehow I just believe that what we ask is what we get.
And what we get is certainly God's provisions on us.
Good night, peeps! *yawn* :)
Love,

How I Met My Saturday
This afternoon, I was attending Yulia's baby shower event at her house.
It was a good day to meet & greet with old friends, having lunch together, sharing stories, & capturing the moments.
Can't believe it's already the 7th month of her pregnancy.
2 months to go to see her little angel. ♥
It has always been a miracle seeing the birth of a child, & it has always been a touching one when the moment happens to be our own good friends or best friends.
Somehow still couldn't believe that I am now starting to enter the baby world. It's not because I am going to delivering a baby, but it's because few of my friends had already giving birth, & there are still so many to go that will undergoing this process.
Looking back all the good & bad old time that we have shared together, all the ups & downs that had been occured once, making me realize that one dot has always connecting us to another dots and delivering us to this very moment. Be it good or bad moment, there are always reasons behind.
As for me...
Life is unpredictable in some ways.
It is full of surprise in certain circumstances.
It is covered by obstacles as a disguise for many times
But..
However & whatever life is, it is still so much worthy for so many reasons.

Ai Pia Cia E Ya
There is this very old Hokkienese song that I was familiar to since I was very young.
It is "Ai Pia Cia E Ya".
I sang this song on stage on during my 7th year old birthday in 1990. Shocking huh?:p
Well, it was my beloved grandpa who taught me and trained me singing this song so many times before I went on stage back then LOL.
Therefore, it is no wonder that up until now, this song has become one of a-must-sing song everytime I go on a karaoke with friends.
I love it because it reminds me of my grandpa everytime I listen to this song. I also love the lyrics itself.
I used to sing this song without knowing the meaning of the lyrics, but now after understanding the lyrics,I love this song even more.
For you who is curious about this song, you can browse it through you tube.
Here is the lyrics of the song that happened to be so meaningful... ^^
爱拼才会赢
Ai pia cia e ya
Note: lyrics is read as you read Indonesian.
一时失志 不免怨叹
Chi shisi ci e mian huan dan
At a time when we lose, our ego would naturally blame.
一时落 魄不免胆寒
Chi si lo bie e mian dan han
At a time when we , our soul would naturally be terrified
那通失去希望 每日醉茫茫
Na tang sit gi hii bang, mui lit zui bang bang
The memory of going through days of losing hopes and getting drunk
无魂有体亲像稻草人
Mbo hun wu dei qing qiu tiu jao lang
My body is without a soul just like a scarecrow
人生可比是海上的波浪
Yin shing ko pi si hai siong e po long
But life really is just like the tide of the sea
有时起有时落
Wu si gii wu si luo
They rise and fall by turn
好运歹命
Ho un pai un
Goodluck, Badluck
总吗要照起工来行
Cong ma ciao gi kang lai kia
Really, you just have to wake up and get to work, do it.
三分天注定 七分靠打拼
Sa hun ti cut tia, jit hun ko ba pia
Thirty percent is Heaven's will, Seventy percent is hard work
爱拼才会赢
Ai pia cia e ya
To win, you have to give your all

Hakuna Matata
This morning, I was fetched up by Elley to the office riding a motorbike. Since it's a rare experience, I asked the security guard to capture a picture of us.
A friend of mine seeing a picture of us & opening a conversation:
TM: Is that you at the back?
Me: Yes, that's me for sure. Weird huhh?
TM: Yes, it's weird. How come you go on a motorbike?
Me: I would like to try on a different experience, to make life more alive.
TM: You look like a Kamen Rider.
Me: What's that?
TM:(sending me the picture of the Kamen Rider)
Me: LOL
Shortly, it was a great experience that I would like to have it repeated again.
Life is good. Life is short, and Life is always no regrets.
Hakuna Matata! :)

Momo & Oink2
I am almost sure that the capturist of this Momo & Oink2 (That's what they are called) is a bit "unwell". Yes, she truly is and sorry to say she is my Little Oink.
It's her craziness that make us able to cope to each other. Sometimes, the opposite polar makes the best partner for each other.
Good luck to Momo & Oink2. Looking forward to see the real of you guys in Paris anytime soon! ♥

Plant and Seed
Howdyy today? What did you experience throughout a day? What did you get afterall?
For me today was just like any other fine day when I can drink my morning coffee, chit chat with colleagues, wandering around the office, conversation over lounge time. Those small activities have really made my day that I can consider as a good day.
Tonight has gone into a deep discussion with a friend of mine. There are 2 contradictive opinions. It is said that we are not allowed to do revenge to someone who harm us for any reason, since they who plant will seed in return. However, in other hand we tend to act based on what people do toward us, so without us realizing it, when people harm us we tend to harm them back and vice versa.
For you, which one is the best option? and why?
Good night everyone. Tomorrow is a day before weekend. Let's have fun get mad! One good news to be noted on is Hollywood movies are gonna be back soonn and I'm so happy for it....xoxox
Crazy Jazz
Do you keen on Jazz, peeps?
Well...There was this jazz music concert in town that we were attending yesterday at my friend's cafe, "Matchbox Coffee and Friends Too". The concert was featuring Riza Arshad as the pianist and Nikita Dompas as the guitarist. I really love jazz, however I love pop jazz with someone singing on the lyrics, while yesterday it was instrumental and tuneless from our point of view. The majority of the attendances were the musicians and heavy jazz lovers, therefore at the ending of the music, people were clapping hands, while me and friends were confuse whether to clap hands or not since we didn't really enjoy of the music. One of my friend said like this: "My brain doesn't cope with this kind of jazz. I'm not smart enough to absorb this. But, let's pretend we're smart. Let's clap hands" and then all of us were "clapping hands" LOL. So funny of this crazy girl that I love. :)
Afterall, it was a great night not to forget.
Looking forward for more jazz concerts, but next time it's gotta be jazz with the tune and lyrics to make the night jazzier ^^

KAYU
It's Me!
Where?
Kayu Japanese Restaurant
Who ?
with an old pal
What ?
Eating avocado crab sushi
When ?
Last saturday
How ?
Just okay
That's the short description my weeekend last saturday. Was having a good dinner at Kayu, the latest Japanese restaurant in town. The food is just okay, the ambience is good, and the price is fair. Will come again to try another menu.
Experiencing a new place and testing on new foods have always been my pleasure. Bon Appetite! ^^
Time Machine
This lately, I'm in the mood of disposing stuffs inside my room and adding it with the more suitable one, since my room has also been renovated at the moment.
Just realized that I kept so many useless things all this years, which supposed to be eliminated soon.
I disposed so so many things, and decided to keep only a few which is still meaningful and remind me of the good old time back then.
There were so many "rubbish" I found inside the cupboards, drawers, containers etc. Some of them are memorable, some of them are not. Some of them are in a good condition, and some of them are in bad condition. Some of them are still on trend, while some of them has already out of trend.
The glance of the stuffs made my memory to flying back to the old time. There were so many good things happened to me along the way yet bad things happened sometimes and the heaps of the disposal items remind me of each and everything that had happened, most importantly remind me of how I have aged as well...
Starting from now on, let's be wise in buying stuffs, peeps! Let's ignore buying "rubbish" instead of buying items which have investment value in years to come. ^^

Updates...
Last thursday I attended Dhamma course at Buddhayana Indonesia from 8.30 to 6pm. Been wanting to learn about Dhamma, & so happy that I finally got the chance of learning it. Learned a lot of things that I hope it will be well applied in my daily life.
There's something different about this weekend that I spent. I'm in process of learning certain skill. Somehow it's better to make differences rather than being just monotonous all the time. Let's keep on adding sparks in our life, peeps! :)
Wise men said that life is between B(irth) & D(eath), however there's C(hoice) in between.
There are always choices to be opted to whatever situations we are in, whenever it is, whoever we meet, wherever we go, and however we are. Life is all about choices. I wish that I will always make the right decision in anything I encounter, anytime, anywhere, & somehow.
Latest news is my BB is a bit worn out at the moment, thus I can't upload pics to my blog. It keeps on scrolling by itself. (¯―¯٥) *sigh*
Am gonna fix it soon anytime I got time.
Ok then. I'm gotta sleep real soon. So sleepy yet happy. Tomorrow is monday. It means working time againnn...Good night, folks! Have a great brand new week! *hug*
